District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP)
The New York State Department of Education Accountability System applies a designation to every school. The accountability system classifies schools as
In Good Standing (GS)
Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI)
Or Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI)
Based upon this classification, nine of our schools are in good standing. One school has been classified as a Targeted Support and Improvement school, which has resulted in the district being designated as a Target District. All Target Districts are required to collaborate with stakeholders to consider existing needs and outline how to best support learning in the upcoming school year as a part of the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan, known as the DCIP.
Attached is the Board-approved DCIP.
