The Board of Education officially appointed James Heubel as our new Director of Facilities at its May 6 meeting. Jim steps into the role following the retirement of Director Keith Watkins.
With over 15 years of leadership in educational infrastructure, Jim brings a wealth of experience to the district, including as our Assistant Director of Facilities (2018–2023), where he helped guide our school district through recovery after Hurricane Ida and played a pivotal role in our $106 million capital project. Most recently, he served as Director of Facilities and Operations for Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES.
