Strategic Roadmap for the City School District of New Rochelle

We Need Your Input!

World Cafés

The World Café methodology is a simple and effective method for hosting large group dialogue, harvesting ideas, and bringing diverse stakeholders together. The World Café directs group discussions toward specific questions. Participants are arranged into small groups and are given a question to address in 20-minute segments. After 20 minutes, groups rotate to another table and begin the process anew. Typically, one member of each group stays at the table and serves as a table host to help take notes and inform the new group as to what was previously discussed. After a series of rotations, typically three, table hosts share out what was discussed at their table. Come join us for what will be a lively and fun evening!

New Ro Education Volunteers

The Office of Family and Community Engagement is seeking volunteers interested in helping us gather additional community input on the refreshed strategic plan. "New Ro Education Volunteers," will use the power of their networks to share a portion of the strategic roadmap and gather feedback and ideas. Interested individuals will receive virtual training and materials and will then engage their networks to 1) share draft content on the revisions to the strategic plan, 2) gather ideas and feedback, and 3) share the results of their network engagement with school district staff.  Those who are interested may contact Eddie Castro, Director of Family and Community Engagement at communityinput@nredlearn.org. We appreciate your participation!

ThoughtExchange

A ThoughtExchange is a unique two-way process to bring people together on important topics, which replaces the methods used in traditional surveys with a naturally collaborative platform. ThoughtExchange is open-ended, confidential, and an easy-to-use digital environment. After sharing your thoughts, you can rate views provided by other stakeholders. You can rate as many opinions as you’d like before moving on to the "Discover" phase, where you can see all the thoughts sorted by the average rating. Join the ThoughtExchange below!
