Ray and Associates met with 16 stakeholder groups on January 27 and 28.

SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH TIMELINE

 

STAGE 1: BOARD INPUT & PREPARATION

Dec. 12,  2020 Consultant planning meeting with the Board and individual Board member interviews

(Wk Jan. 4 – Jan. 11, 2021)

Dec. 22, 2020 - Begin preparing information for the District promotional flyer or job description and online application form with the District liaison representative(s).

                            - Notify all associates and other professional contacts of vacancy.

Jan. 05, 2021 - Contact constituents and stakeholders for input meetings on 1/27-28/2021.

                            - Establishing Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC).

Jan. 6-13, 2021 Application period for CAC.

Jan. 14, 2021 CAC Members selected.

 

 

STAGE 2: PROFILE DEVELOPMENT & PROCESS

Jan. 6, 2021 Online survey link, for input on developing the profile, available on District website from 1/06/2021

to 1/31/2021.

Jan. 19 & 26, 2021 First CAC meeting run by Superintendent Search Community Engagement Committee.

Jan. 27-28, 2021 Meetings with constituent, stakeholder group representatives and Citizens Advisory Committee.

Jan. 31, 2021 8 a.m. deadline for survey/input from constituents, stakeholders and Board members, including online survey.

Feb. 3, 2021 CAC reviewed aggregated data from Ray and Associates to review based on comment responses of the community survey

Feb. 9, 2021 Board to finalize Superintendent profile for the promotional flyer or job description, with consideration of CAC input

 

STAGE 3: RECRUITING & SCREENING

Feb. 12, 2021 - Print promotional flyer.

                           - E-mail promotional flyer and online application instructions to interested candidates.

March 9, 2021 CAC to meet with BOE subcommittee members to provide feedback on Interview questions.

March 28, 2021 Deadline for all application materials.

 

STAGE 4: CANDIDATE PRESENTATION

April 13, 2021 Consultant develops and finalizes interview questions and procedures with the Board. Top candidates are presented to the Board and consultant assists the Board in selecting finalists for the interviews. If desired, consultant will meet with constituents and staff interview group(s) to discuss their roles.

April 16, 2021 -Interview top candidates (1st round).

                            -Meeting with consultant following the last interview.

 

STAGE 5: SELECTION OF FINALIST & FUTURE PLANNING

April 23, 2021 - Interview finalist candidates (2nd round). (Optional)

                            - CAC will meet to complete any other tasks as identified by the Board.

                            - Final meeting with consultant following the last interview.
