Address changes must be made through the school your child attends.
School bus stops and pick-up times for students riding yellow school buses are established by the Transportation Department. For the safety of the students, only students assigned to the bus route are allowed on the bus and each student will be picked up and discharged only at designated stops. School buses stop at "group" stops to ensure that our buses run in a timely manner and arrive to school on time. Door to door transportation is not available. Please note that in order to run timely routes, and in compliance with the New York State Commissioner of Education ruling that it is the parents’ responsibility to get their child(ren) safely to and from their bus stop. Students in grades K through 12 will be dropped off at the bus stop regardless of whether a parent or guardian is present.
EMERGENCY ACCIDENTS AND INCIDENTS
If there is an emergency, accident or incident on the school bus, parents will be notified in a timely fashion by either the transportation office, the bus company or the schools main office according to the districts safety and security protocols.
